These are some shots of reef net fishing. There are two boats invovled together. They stand in the towers and when they see salmon coming between their boats they pull up their nets.

This is a crab boat coming into the dock on the Gooseberry point side (mainland) next to the Lummi Ferry dock.

This is the Whatcom Chief Ferry. It takes around 7 minutes for it to make a crossing.

I have decided to start posting the photos I have taken on Lummi Island, WA USA. Lummi Island is part of the San Juan Islands, but is located in Whatcom County and so isn't mentioned as often as the other islands. The photos will come soon.
